Historical-naturalistic trek exploring the military fortifications of the island of Caprera, camouflaged among the rocks, like the Battery of Candeo: shooting stations, barracks, ammunition depots dating back to World War II.

Inhabited in Roman times and now uninhabited and full of areas with maximum environmental protection due to the presence of numerous endemisms. In the hinterland of the island of Caprera stands the residence, the White house and the farm, of the hero of the two worlds. Here Garibaldi spent over 30 years of his life and died there. From 1978 it became a museum organized with guides who tell the story among its trees which he planted, objects, memorabilia, furniture, the boats he used to fish..in a frame of sea, woods and granite rocks. The Cala di Garibaldi in emerald colors completes, with a dip in the transparent water, this interesting journey through history.

Suggestive village of former military buildings renovated and transformed into reception centers, sea museum, mineral museum. It houses and gathers the few inhabitants of Caprera. A dive into the history of Maddalena and the islands. Paths between the Mediterranean scrub leave from the village to reach coves of crystal clear water, white beaches and vast pine forests.
